These simple steps will help prepare your skin for your new brows and help achieve the best outcome with the least discomfort.

• Avoid physical activities on the day of the procedure to prevent pores from expanding due to body heat.
• Stay out of strong sunlight and avoid sunburn for three days leading up to your appointment. Your skin should be free from any irritation or healing.
• Please refrain from consuming any caffeinated beverages on the day of the procedure and avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after your appointment.
• Unless necessary for health reasons, please avoid taking fish oil, aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, ibuprofen, and omega-3 for 48-72 hours before your procedure, as these can thin your blood. Tylenol is acceptable if needed.
• Please do not tweeze, wax, or undergo electrolysis in the brow area one week prior to your appointment. Any hair removal should be completed at least 72 hours before.
• Avoid any facial procedures, including Botox or dermal fillers, for two to four weeks before your procedure to ensure the treatment area is stable.

A great result begins with well-prepared skin! It’s important that your brow area is in top condition—healthy, robust, and irritation-free.

Here’s how to prepare:

• Gently exfoliate your brow area the evening before your appointment. This removes dead skin cells and enhances the uptake of the pigment.
• Please handle any tweezing, tinting, or waxing at least 72 hours before your procedure. If there are still stray hairs, don’t worry—your technician can remove them with a razor during your session.
• Since your brows need to remain dry for a week following the procedure, we recommend washing your hair either the day before or on the day of the procedure to keep your brows as dry as possible afterwards.

Immediately after your treatment for the first 30 minutes, blot the area gently every five minutes with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid, helping to prevent hardening.

Day 1-3: Expect tenderness, swelling, and a darker appearance.

Day 4-10: Scabs will form and begin to flake off. Avoid picking at them to ensure even healing.

Initial Reaction: Redness and swelling are common.

Scabbing Phase: Scabs form and then flake away within the first 10 days.

Colour Adjustment: Post-scabbing, the colour may seem light or blurry but will stabilise over the next few weeks.

Final Results: The true colour and definition will settle by around four weeks post-procedure.
