The following restrictions ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for the procedure.

• Avoid heavy sunlight and especially sunburn for three days before the procedure.
• Stop using lash serums and growth treatments (especially prostaglandin-based formulas) 2 weeks prior to avoid increased vascularity or sensitivity around the eyes.
• Avoid lash lifts or tints close to your appointment.
• Stop using retinol or active skincare products near the eyes 1 week prior.
• Do not drink coffee or anything with caffeine on the day of the procedure.
• Do not take fish oil, aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, ibuprofen or omega-3, unless medically necessary, for 48 to 72 hours before the procedure.
• Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours before or after the procedure.

• Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes.
• Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment.

The treated area may feel warm or tight immediately after, and you may experience mild to moderate swelling and redness within the first 24 hours. Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 hours and apply a cold compress for 5 to 10 minutes at a time to reduce swelling.

• Avoid all eye makeup until eyelids are fully healed.
• Do not rub, scratch or pick the area.
• Avoid intense workouts that produce sweating for 24 to 48 hours and limit direct sun exposure.

• Swelling for 1 to 3 days, sometimes more noticeable the morning after.
• Temporary darkening of pigment (oxidation) before fading.
• Gradual lightening over 6 to 8 weeks.
• Possible slight bruising in some cases.
• Watery eyes or light sensitivity for 24 to 48 hours.

• Internal eye shields are used during treatment for safety.
• Some eyeliner pigments, especially iron oxide-based inks, can temporarily darken before breaking down.
• Do not apply retinol, active skincare or exfoliants near the eye area for 7 days.
• Avoid lash growth serums for at least 2 weeks post-treatment.
• Contact the clinic immediately if you experience severe pain, vision changes, or signs of infection.

• Protect the area from sun exposure with sunglasses and SPF once healed.
• Avoid tanning beds.
• Maintain gentle skincare around the eye area.
• Allow full healing between sessions.

Patience is important: eyeliner tattoos are often dense and placed deeply along the lash line, meaning gradual, safe fading produces the best cosmetic outcome.

Most clients require between 2 and 6 sessions for significant fading or total removal. The exact number is determined by the depth of the original ink, the type of pigment used, and how your body processes the shattered particles. Sessions are spaced at least 8 weeks apart to allow the eyelid skin to fully recover.

No. Our specialised laser technology is designed to target the dark pigment of the tattoo ink specifically, bypassing the hair follicles. Your natural eyelashes will remain healthy and intact throughout the removal process.

Once the laser shatters the ink into microscopic particles, your immune system’s macrophages trap the particles and transport them through the lymphatic system. Because the skin on the eyelid is very thin, the body can often process these particles efficiently, showing continued fading for weeks after the session.

Yes. Laser is exceptionally effective at treating pigment migration, which occurs when the original ink has blurred into the surrounding tissue. Because the laser is so precise, we can often erase only the migrated areas, leaving the rest of the liner intact if desired.

Safety is our absolute priority. We never perform laser eyeliner tattoo removal without medical-grade eye protection. Internal shields, similar to a thick contact lens, are used to ensure the laser light never reaches the eye itself.
